This refurbished Samsung Galaxy S23+ is the 6.6-inch middle model of Samsung's 2023 range, unlocked for all UK networks with 5G. It is pre-owned, tested and graded Like New, Excellent or Very Good, from £340 for 256GB (Like New). 01Network and SIM
Use it on any UK network, including EE, O2, Vodafone, Three and giffgaff, with 5G where available. Samsung lists support for a nano-SIM and an eSIM on the UK model (SM-S916B). SIM support depends on the model supplied, so message us to confirm before you order if you need eSIM.
02Display
Samsung specifies a flat 6.6-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel at 48–120Hz with up to 1,750 nits. That is half an inch more than the S23, without the Ultra's curved edges; Samsung lists it at 196g.
03Performance and storage
It uses the same Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Mobile Platform for Galaxy as the rest of the range, with 8GB of RAM. Samsung UK sold it in 256GB and 512GB only, and there is no memory card slot.
04Cameras
The cameras match the S23: Samsung lists a 50MP wide, 12MP ultra wide and 10MP 3x telephoto, with a 12MP front camera. Galaxy AI photo tools arrived with One UI 6.1. For 10x zoom you need the Ultra.
05Battery and charging
This is its main advantage. Samsung rates it at 4,700mAh when new, 800mAh more than the S23, with up to 45W wired charging using a compatible charger. Every grade has at least 85% battery health at dispatch.
06Software updates
Samsung promised the S23 series four Android upgrades and five years of security updates. From its UK release on 17 February 2023, that points to security support until around February 2028; it was on monthly patches on 30 Sep 2026.

We test it, clean it, factory reset it and remove the previous owner's Google and Samsung accounts, then grade it Like New, Excellent or Very Good on wear, not function. Yes, for most people who want a big screen and strong battery without paying for an Ultra. You get the Ultra's chip, 45W charging and over two years of security updates. You give up the S Pen, 200MP camera and 10x zoom.
Who it's for
Pick the S23+ for streaming, maps and messaging on a large, flat screen. If one-handed use matters more, the Galaxy S23 (from £299) is smaller. Photographers and note-takers should compare the Galaxy S23 Ultra (from £420).
