Return / Refund Policy – The Tech Gadgets

All returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery, unless otherwise specified.

To initiate a return or refund request, please email us at info@thetechgadgets.co.uk, or contact us via WhatsApp. Please wait for confirmation from us before dispatching the item. If the item is sent back without prior confirmation, it may not be accepted, and the customer will be responsible for any resulting loss.

Return Reasons

I. Defective / Faulty / Wrong Item / Missing Parts

· The issue must be reported immediately or within 3 days of delivery.

· The return must include all original packaging and accessories.

II. Arrived Damaged

· The issue must be reported immediately or within 3 days of delivery.

· A written statement from the courier confirming that the item was damaged during shipping is required.

· The return must include all original packaging and accessories.

III. Changed Mind / Purchased by Mistake

· Some clearance or sale items may not be returnable; please read the product description carefully before purchasing.

· New items must be returned sealed and unopened.

· Items with a manufacturer’s seal must be returned with the seal unbroken and intact.

· Please provide a tracking number once the item is dispatched.

· If the seal is broken, a 10–70% deduction will be applied to the refund, depending on how much the item has been used and the condition of the packaging and accessories.

· Returns for generic accessories are not accepted.

 


 

Return Shipping Costs

· For return reasons I and II, a prepaid return label will be provided. The item must be returned in the same condition as received.
If, for any reason, we cannot provide a return label, the customer may ship the device at their own cost, and we will refund the return postage.

· For return reason III (“Changed Mind / Purchased by Mistake”), the customer pays for return shipping. We can provide a shipping label and deduct the cost from the refund.

 


 

Packaging Requirements

Once your return is approved, please repackage the device securely in its original box (or equivalent protective packaging), including all accessories. Clearly label the parcel with your name and order number.
We strongly recommend using a tracked shipping service and keeping proof of postage.

If the 30-day period has passed, returns may still be accepted under the seller’s warranty (if applicable) for repair only, covering manufacturing faults. Return shipping in such cases must be paid by the customer.
Please email info@thetechgadgets.co.uk with your tracking number and courier name, and include your order number in the subject line. The same email can be used for follow-ups.

If returning a parcel independently, please mention your order number on or inside the parcel.
Before returning any device, ensure it is factory reset and all passwords, screen locks, and linked accounts are removed. Failure to do so may delay replacement or refund.
Do not include any accessories (chargers, cables, cases, etc.) unless specifically requested, as we are not responsible for accessories lost in transit.

Once the tracking shows the parcel is delivered to our return center, it may take 1–3 working days for an update.

If we provide a repair cost estimate and no response is received within 2–3 working days, the device will be returned to the customer.

 


 

Refunds

No refunds are applicable after 30 days of purchase, regardless of the issue or warranty coverage.
The final refund amount will be at The Tech Gadgets’ discretion and may differ from the standard policy depending on the situation. This decision will be final and not subject to dispute.

Please inspect your order upon delivery. If the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, contact us immediately as stated above so we can resolve the issue.

If an order placed via Clearpay or Klarna is cancelled due to an incorrect address, change of mind, or any reason not attributable to The Tech Gadgets, a 10% deduction (including any shipping fees) will apply before the refund is processed.

Refunds are processed within 3 working days of receiving the returned item but may take up to 14 working days to reflect in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider.
Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method.

Important Notes

· It is the customer’s responsibility to read and understand our policies before dispatching any return.

· If a prepaid return label is provided, the customer must print it and drop the parcel at the nearest post office. We do not offer collection services.

· Always ensure devices are reset to factory settings and free of any locks or accounts before shipping.

· Once a return is approved, the item must be shipped within 7 days. After this period, The Tech Gadgets will not be responsible for any loss, and acceptance of the return will be at the company’s discretion.
