01Network and SIM
The iPhone 13 works on EE, O2, Vodafone, Three, giffgaff and other UK networks, with 5G where available. Apple specifies a nano-SIM plus eSIM, or two eSIMs, with Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0. Any iPhone 13 unlocked in the UK like ours takes a SIM-only deal without a network code.
02Display
Apple specifies a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED at 2532 x 1170 pixels, 800 nits typical and 1,200 nits peak HDR. It has a notch and a standard refresh rate; ProMotion up to 120Hz is on the iPhone 13 Pro.
03Performance and storage
Apple fits the A15 Bionic with a 6-core CPU and 4-core GPU, the same CPU as the iPhone 14. There's no card slot: a used iPhone 13 128GB suits iCloud users.
04Cameras
Apple lists a 12MP Main at ƒ/1.6 with sensor-shift stabilisation, a 12MP Ultra Wide at ƒ/2.4 and a 12MP ƒ/2.2 front camera. There's no telephoto; the iPhone 13 Pro adds 3x zoom.
05Battery and charging
Apple rates it at up to 19 hours of video and 75 hours of audio when new. Every grade has at least 85% battery health at dispatch. It charges over Lightning, up to 50% in around 30 minutes with a 20W adapter, and supports MagSafe up to 15W.
