01Network and SIM
The iPhone 14 Plus works on EE, O2, Vodafone, Three, giffgaff and other UK networks, with 5G where available. Apple specifies a nano-SIM plus eSIM, or two eSIMs, for UK models; US versions of the iPhone 14 range are eSIM-only. SIM tray depends on the model supplied; message us to confirm before you order if you need one. It suits any iPhone 14 Plus unlocked UK SIM-only plan.
02Display
Apple specifies a 6.7-inch Super Retina XDR OLED at 2778 x 1284 pixels, 800 nits typical and 1,200 nits peak HDR. It's the same size as the iPhone 14 Pro Max, without ProMotion, the Always-On display or the Dynamic Island.
03Performance and storage
The A15 Bionic here has a 6-core CPU and 5-core GPU. There's no card slot, so a second hand iPhone 14 Plus with 256GB suits anyone who downloads films for travel.
04Cameras
Apple lists the same cameras as the iPhone 14: a 12MP Main at ƒ/1.5, a 12MP Ultra Wide at ƒ/2.4 and a 12MP ƒ/1.9 front camera. There's no telephoto; the iPhone 14 Pro Max adds a 48MP Main and 3x zoom at the same screen size.
05Battery and charging
Apple rates it at up to 26 hours of video and 100 hours of audio when new. Every grade leaves us with at least 85% battery health at dispatch. It charges over Lightning, with MagSafe up to 15W.
06Software updates
Apple lists the iPhone 14 Plus for iOS 27, current on 30 Sep 2026. Apple's UK PSTI statements commit to at least five years of security updates from first supply; first sold in October 2022, it should be covered to at least October 2027. It doesn't support Apple Intelligence.

Is a refurbished iPhone 14 Plus worth buying in 2026?
Yes, if you want the biggest screen and longest battery life for the money and don't need Pro cameras. It has Crash Detection and satellite SOS. The trade-offs are the A15 Bionic, Lightning rather than USB-C, no ProMotion and no Apple Intelligence.
Who it's for

No. Both have 6.7-inch screens, but the Pro Max adds the A16 Bionic, 120Hz ProMotion, the Dynamic Island and a 3x telephoto. The Plus is 37g lighter.
How long will the iPhone 14 Plus get updates?
It runs iOS 27, and Apple's UK security commitment points to updates until at least October 2027. Apple hasn't named a final iOS version.
