01Network and SIM
Unlocked for all UK networks, including EE, O2, Vodafone, Three and giffgaff. Samsung lists 5G, Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4. It takes a nano-SIM and an eSIM, so work and personal numbers can share the phone.
02Display
Samsung specifies a 6.9-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen with a 1–120Hz refresh rate, covered by Corning Gorilla Armor 2, an anti-reflective glass ceramic. That's up from 6.8 inches on the S24 Ultra, and Samsung has rounded the edges for a more comfortable grip.
03Performance and storage
Samsung pairs the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy with 12GB of RAM and 256GB, 512GB or 1TB of storage (Samsung notes memory can vary by market). Samsung says the S25 series uses a 40% larger vapour chamber than before to manage heat. There's no microSD slot, so 1TB suits heavy 8K or RAW shooters.
04Cameras
Samsung lists four rear cameras: 200MP wide, a new 50MP ultra-wide (up from 12MP on the S24 Ultra), a 50MP 5x telephoto and a 10MP 3x telephoto, plus a 12MP front camera. The S Pen is built in, but on this model Samsung removed Bluetooth, so Air actions and remote shutter don't work.
05Battery and charging
Samsung rates the battery at 5,000mAh typical and up to 31 hours of video playback when new – the longest in the S25 range. A 45W adapter gives up to 65% in about 30 minutes, and it charges wirelessly. Every grade has at least 85% battery health at dispatch.
06Software updates
Samsung promises seven generations of OS upgrades and seven years of security updates from the S25 series' February 2025 global launch, so support runs to 2032. It launched with Android 15 and One UI 7. Galaxy AI features include Now Brief, Audio Eraser and Circle to Search with Google; Samsung notes some need a Samsung Account and internet access, and availability varies by region and language. Basic Samsung features remain free after the original end-2025 offer.

Is a refurbished Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra worth buying in 2026?
Yes, if you'll use the S Pen and zoom cameras: it adds a stylus and two telephotos, has the biggest battery in the S25 range and gets support to 2032. The trade-offs are price, 218g of weight and an S Pen without Bluetooth. If you don't need the latest model, the S24 Ultra starts at £507.60.
Who it's for

Buy the S25 Ultra for the newer chip, lighter body and longer support; buy the S24 Ultra to save money or keep a Bluetooth S Pen. Both have 5x zoom and 5,000mAh.
Is it unlocked?
Yes. It's unlocked for every UK network and works with a nano-SIM, an eSIM or both.
Does the S25 Ultra come with an S Pen?
Samsung supplies the S25 Ultra with a built-in S Pen; as this is a used phone, message us to confirm it's present before you order. Samsung removed Bluetooth, so Air actions don't work.
