01Network and SIM
An unlocked iPhone 11 takes a SIM from EE, O2, Vodafone, Three, giffgaff, Tesco Mobile or any UK network. Apple lists Gigabit-class 4G LTE but no 5G, so on a 5G plan it uses 4G. Dual SIM combines a nano-SIM with an eSIM.
02Display
Apple specifies a 6.1-inch Liquid Retina HD LCD at 1792 x 828 (326 ppi) and 625 nits. It's an LCD, not OLED, so blacks look greyer in a dark room and text is a little softer than on an iPhone 12.
03Performance and storage
The A13 Bionic still runs iOS 27, messaging, banking and social apps smoothly, and feels slower than newer iPhones in demanding games. There's no card slot: 64GB fills quickly with photos, so the iPhone 11 128GB is the safer everyday choice.
04Cameras
Apple fitted a 12MP Wide camera (f/1.8) with optical image stabilisation and a 12MP Ultra Wide (f/2.4), and added Night mode, a first for the standard iPhone. Video records in 4K at up to 60 fps. The front camera is 12MP. There's no telephoto lens.
05Battery and charging
Apple rated the iPhone 11 at up to 17 hours of video playback when new, the same as the iPhone 12. A used battery has aged, so every grade has at least 85% battery health at dispatch. It charges by Lightning or Qi wireless; it doesn't support MagSafe.
06Software updates
Apple lists the iPhone 11 as compatible with iOS 27, released on 14 September 2026, and issued iOS 27.0.1 on 28 September 2026. The iPhone 11 family is now the oldest on that list, so the next major iOS isn't guaranteed. Security updates depend on Apple's policy; check the latest status before you buy.
