Changed your mindYou pay postageItem must be unused

Faulty or damagedWe pay postageCovered by our 12-month warranty

Buying online also gives you a legal right to cancel within 14 days of delivery, even if you've opened the box. We may reduce the refund if the phone has been handled more than needed to inspect it.

12months

Our own warranty, on every phone. If a genuine fault appears, we put it right. You deal with us directly.

Covered

Faults that happen in normal use

Battery stops charging or drains abnormally
Speaker, microphone or earpiece stops working
Camera, Face ID or Touch ID fails
Buttons, charging port or SIM reader fail
Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or mobile signal faults
Screen or touch fails without any damage

Not covered

Damage caused after delivery

Cracked or broken screen or back glass
Drops, bends, dents or impact damage
Liquid damage (water, drinks, moisture)
Repairs or parts fitted by anyone else
Normal wear: scratches, battery ageing
Loss, theft or software you install

Example: a phone returned after 3 months with a cracked screen from a drop is damage, not a fault, so it isn't covered by the warranty. A phone whose speaker stops working on its own is a fault, and it is covered.

Features

Every detail, verified.

01What's in the box

The stick and the Alexa Voice Remote Lite. Please message us before ordering to confirm whether the power adapter, USB cable, HDMI extender, remote batteries and original box are included. Streaming subscriptions such as Netflix or Disney+ aren't included. You'll need your own Amazon account and Wi-Fi to set it up.

02Picture and performance

Amazon's device specifications list 1080p at 60fps with HDR10, HDR10+ and HLG, a 1.7GHz quad-core processor, 8GB of storage and dual-band Wi-Fi 5. That's enough for the main UK apps on a Full HD TV. It doesn't output 4K.

03The Lite remote

The Voice Remote Lite has Alexa voice search and playback controls, but not the TV power and volume buttons of the standard remote. You'll still need your TV's own remote for those.

Condition

What "Pristine Condition" means

This Fire TV Stick Lite is pre-owned: it has been used before, so it isn't new or sealed. We test and clean it before listing. Pristine Condition means pre-owned and fully working, with little or no visible wear. The photo is an Amazon product image, not your unit.

Compare

How it compares

Our view

Is it worth buying pre-owned?

At £30 it's our lowest-cost way to add streaming apps to an older HD TV, a bedroom set or a caravan. The trade-offs: it's used, it's HD only, and the remote is basic. If you want TV volume control, the Fire TV Stick adds it; for a 4K TV, look at the Fire TV Stick 4K. Our Fire TV Stick buying guide compares all four.

Is this Fire TV Stick Lite new?

No. It's pre-owned in Pristine Condition: used, then tested and cleaned.

Does it do 4K?

No. Amazon lists it at up to 1080p. For 4K, choose the Fire TV Stick 4K or 4K Max.

Can the remote control my TV's volume?

No. The Voice Remote Lite doesn't have TV power or volume buttons.

Is the power adapter included?

Please message us before ordering to confirm. Use a mains adapter rather than the TV's USB port for reliable power.

Who provides the warranty?

We do: 12 months from The Tech Gadgets, plus the Consumer Rights Act 2015 if it's faulty.
