01Network and SIM
This is the Wi-Fi + Cellular model, so it can use mobile data on 4G LTE networks with a nano-SIM. It is unlocked, so it works with any UK network. It also connects over Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac), dual band. A data plan is not included.
02Display
Apple lists a 9.7-inch Retina display, 2048 x 1536 pixels at 264 ppi. It does not support Apple Pencil.
03Performance and storage
The A9 chip with M9 coprocessor handles browsing, streaming, email, video calls and school apps. Storage options are 32GB or 128GB. Choose the larger size if you keep downloads, photos or offline video on the iPad.
04Cameras
Apple lists an 8MP rear camera and a 1.2MP FaceTime HD front camera. They are suited to video calls, scanning documents and casual photos.
05Battery and charging
