This is a refurbished Galaxy S20 Plus (Samsung Galaxy S20+), unlocked for UK networks, with 128GB from £199 in Like New, Excellent or Very Good grades. It has a 6.7-inch 120Hz screen and a 4,500mAh battery. Samsung ended its security updates in 2025. It comes with a 12-month warranty and same-day dispatch by 3pm.

01Network and SIM
Any UK SIM works, from EE and Vodafone to Three, O2 and giffgaff. Samsung UK sold the S20+ only as the Galaxy S20 Plus 5G (SM-G986B); a 4G SM-G985F was sold elsewhere in Europe (GSMArena, Mighty Gadget) and can turn up in refurbished stock, so 5G or 4G depends on the model supplied; message us to confirm before you order.
02Display
The 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel is 3200 x 1440 and refreshes at up to 120Hz at FHD+ (GSMArena). That is half an inch more than the S20, useful for video and maps. It weighs 186g.
03Performance and storage
The Exynos 990 is paired with 12GB of RAM on the UK 5G model, or 8GB on the 4G model (GSMArena). Storage is 128GB plus microSD. There is no headphone jack.
04Cameras
The rear cameras match the S20 (12MP main, 12MP ultra wide, 64MP telephoto with 3x hybrid zoom) plus a time-of-flight depth sensor for portrait blur. The front camera is 10MP.
05Battery and charging
Samsung rated the battery at 4,500mAh when new, 500mAh more than the S20, with 25W wired and 15W wireless charging. We set a minimum battery health at dispatch for each grade (see key facts).
06Software updates
It launched on Android 10 and ended on Android 13. Samsung stopped S20+ security patches in April 2025, with March 2025 the final release (9to5Google, Sammy Fans), and it is absent from Samsung's security update list as of 30 Sep 2026.

Our view
Is a refurbished Galaxy S20 Plus worth buying in 2026?
It is worth it if you want a large-screen Samsung for £199 and can live without security updates. It works as a media phone at home, a backup handset or a budget phone for light use. The trade-offs: no patches since March 2025, a 2020 Exynos 990 and a 186g glass body.
Who it's for

Is the Galaxy S20+ unlocked?
Yes, it is unlocked and accepts a SIM from any UK network. There is no network branding or carrier lock to remove.
Is the Galaxy S20 Plus 5G?
Samsung UK sold it as 5G only, but some refurbished units are the European 4G model (SM-G985F). Ask us before ordering if you need 5G.
Galaxy S20 Plus or S20 Ultra: which should I buy?
Choose the S20+ for a lighter phone at a lower price, or the S20 Ultra for its 4x optical zoom and bigger battery. Neither gets Samsung security updates any more.
Will it still get security updates?
No, Samsung's final S20+ patch was March 2025. It will keep working, but it won't receive fixes for new security problems.
What battery health will I get?
At least 85% on every grade, checked before dispatch. You can see the figure in Settings › Battery › Battery Health.
