01About international stock
This phone was made for sale in the UAE or Europe rather than supplied by Samsung UK. It runs the same Android and One UI software and works in the UK. A few things can differ from UK stock: the model code (shown on the box and in Settings › About), box printing in another language, and the fact that Samsung UK may not carry out manufacturer warranty repairs on non-UK units. That's why every phone comes with our own 12-month warranty, and you deal with us directly if anything goes wrong.
02Network and SIM
It's unlocked, so it works with any UK network, including EE, O2, Vodafone, Three, giffgaff, Tesco Mobile, Sky Mobile, Lebara and iD Mobile. 5G works where your network, plan and location support it.

The 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display runs at up to 120Hz, and Samsung's Vision Booster keeps it readable in bright sunlight.

What "Open Box (Activated)" means
This phone comes in its original Samsung box. It has been taken out of the box, switched on, set up and activated, so it isn't sealed and we don't sell it as brand new. Before dispatch we factory reset it, remove every Google and Samsung account, test the screen, cameras, speakers, charging and connectivity, and pack it back in its box. It arrives ready for you to set up with your own accounts, and cosmetically it's in as-new condition.

How it compares
The A27 is the entry point to this year's Galaxy A range and the only one of the three we stock with a microSD card slot. The Galaxy A37 runs Samsung's Exynos 1480 chip, and the Galaxy A57 adds the faster Exynos 1680 and IP68 protection.

Who it's for
Choose the A27 if you want the most affordable way into a current Samsung with a big screen, 5G and years of updates. If you want more performance or IP68 water resistance, look at the Galaxy A37 and A57.

Is this phone brand new?
It's open box stock. The phone has been set up and activated once, then factory reset and checked, so it isn't sealed. That's why we sell it as Open Box (Activated) rather than brand new.
Will it be locked to someone else's account?
No. We remove all Google and Samsung accounts and factory reset every phone before dispatch, so you set it up with your own.
Will it work on my network?
Yes. It's unlocked and works on EE, O2, Vodafone, Three, giffgaff and every other UK network. 5G works where your network and plan support it.
What's in the box?

Who provides the warranty?
We do. Every phone comes with a 12-month warranty from The Tech Gadgets, and you contact us directly if anything goes wrong. Because it's international stock, Samsung UK may not repair it under manufacturer warranty.
When will it arrive?
Orders placed by 3pm UK time Monday to Friday are dispatched the same day from Manchester. After 3pm Monday to Thursday they go out the next working day, and after 3pm on Friday or at the weekend on Monday (UK bank holidays excluded). Standard delivery takes 1–3 working days and is free on orders of £50 or more, otherwise £4.99; Special Delivery (next working day) is £9.99.
