01About international stock
This tablet was made for sale in the UAE or Europe rather than supplied by Samsung UK. It runs the same Android and One UI software and works in the UK. A few things can differ from UK stock: the model code (shown on the box and in Settings › About), box printing in another language, and the fact that Samsung UK may not carry out manufacturer warranty repairs on non-UK units. That's why every tablet comes with our own 12-month warranty, and you deal with us directly if anything goes wrong.
02Connectivity
This is the 4G LTE model. Pop in a nano-SIM from any UK network for mobile data on the go, or use it on Wi-Fi at home. A data-only SIM is usually the cheapest option for a tablet.
03Display
The 8.7-inch display (1340 x 800) has a 90Hz refresh rate, so scrolling and video feel smooth. The compact size makes it easy to hold in one hand and slip into a bag.
04Performance and storage
The MediaTek Helio G99 chip and 8GB of RAM handles streaming, browsing, video calls, reading and casual games. Storage can be expanded with a microSD card, up to 2TB in total.
05Cameras
An 8MP rear camera for scanning documents and quick photos, and a 5MP front camera for clearer video calls.
06Battery and sound
A 5,100mAh battery with 15W wired charging. Stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and a 3.5mm headphone jack make it a good tablet for films, music and kids' content.

Condition
What "Open Box (Activated)" means
This tablet comes in its original Samsung box. It has been taken out of the box, switched on, set up and activated, so it isn't sealed and we don't sell it as brand new. Before dispatch we factory reset it, remove every Google and Samsung account, test the screen, cameras, speakers, charging and connectivity, and pack it back in its box. It arrives ready for you to set up with your own accounts, and cosmetically it's in as-new condition.

Is this tablet brand new?
It's open box stock. The tablet has been set up and activated once, then factory reset and checked, so it isn't sealed. That's why we sell it as Open Box (Activated) rather than brand new.
Will it be locked to someone else's account?
No. We remove all Google and Samsung accounts and factory reset every tablet before dispatch, so you set it up with your own.
Can I use a SIM card in it?
Yes. This model takes a nano-SIM from any UK network for mobile data. A data-only SIM is usually the cheapest option.
What's in the box?

We do. Every tablet comes with a 12-month warranty from The Tech Gadgets, and you contact us directly if anything goes wrong. Because it's international stock, Samsung UK may not repair it under manufacturer warranty.
When will it arrive?
Orders placed by 3pm UK time Monday to Friday are dispatched the same day from Manchester. After 3pm Monday to Thursday they go out the next working day, and after 3pm on Friday or at the weekend on Monday (UK bank holidays excluded). Standard delivery takes 1–3 working days and is free on orders of £50 or more, otherwise £4.99; Special Delivery (next working day) is £9.99.
