The unit is fully working, tested and cleaned, with at least 85% battery health. GSMArena lists NFC for contactless payments. Samsung's 5G band list varies by model, so message us if you need to confirm a particular band.

Display

GSMArena lists a 6.5-inch PLS LCD at 720 x 1600 with a 90Hz refresh rate. The higher refresh rate makes scrolling smoother than on a 60Hz budget phone, though it's an HD+ panel rather than Full HD.

Performance and storage

The Dimensity 700 is an entry-level 5G chip. A dedicated microSD slot lets you add storage.

Cameras

Samsung lists a 50MP f/1.8 main camera and a 2MP macro on the rear, with a 5MP front camera. Because the phone is used, each unit has a minimum battery health at dispatch: 85%+ on every grade.

Software updates

The A13 5G launched on Android 11 and Samsung took it up to Android 14. It's an older phone and reports and endoflife.date indicate Samsung's regular security updates for it have ended or are ending, so we don't promise further patches. It still suits everyday use, but for long-term updates, choose a newer model such as the Galaxy A15 5G or A16 5G.

Is a refurbished Samsung Galaxy A13 5G worth buying in 2026?

For 5G on a tight budget, yes, as long as you accept that updates are at or near the end.
